1. Introduction

1.1. These guidelines state the minimum requirements for safe and effective parallel operation of the City of Penticton Electric Utility (CPEU) with customer owned inverter-based micro-distributed resource (micro-DR) technologies. The customer should discuss project plans with CPEU staff at the conceptual stage, well in advance of purchasing or installing equipment.
