Micro Utility Concept Utility Shell Corporation
Background: Global has identified between 300-800 landfill gas and anywhere from 400-900 coalbed methane projects which are seeking energy partners. Our concept is to identify and establish power buyback contracts, green energy credits, rebates, and thermal sales with those projects, then offer a turnkey packaged micro utility in a container. The micro utility owner can own part or all of a containerized utility, or own several projects, in a variety of locations.
Stage I: A fee is paid to Global of $20,000 which covers the feasibility study, power contract and green power tax credit information. This fee is deductible from the containerized micro utility if purchased from Global. It is desirable at this point to incorporate a shell corporation which will be the utility. This is accomplished through your lawyer and certified public accountant.
Stage II: With the completion of the feasibility study, all power and green energy tax credits areidentified. Atthispoint, themicroutilityshellmaystartnegotiationsforpowercontractsand secure operating agreements.
Stage III: With operating agreements completed, a prepackaged turnkey containerized utility is ordered. Depending on type of electrical and thermal sales agreements, options may be selected. The prepackaged micro utility will have gas filters, de-watering, compressors, microturbines, optional hot water heat exchangers all mounted in a stand-alone container.
Stage IV: The prepackaged utility is shipped to the production site, and all gas and power connections are made. A yearly service agreement can be established for monitoring and maintenance of the microturbines. A web based monitoring system can also be integrated so you can watch (live) your power sales, and microturbine power output.
